Wendy R. Anderson is a highly-experienced, widely-recognized national security expert with extensive knowledge on innovation, technology, and government operations in the defense sector. Recognized as one of the top 25 women in the US to shape defense policy, she is a known innovator, strategist, and trusted advisor, bringing more than two decades of expertise to senior leaders in government, the private sector, the entertainment industry, think tanks, and academia on pressing national and international security issues.
Anderson is currently Senior Counselor at Palantir, working on a number of complex national security challenges facing the United States and our allies. Anderson served in the Obama administration in key leadership roles in the Departments of Defense and Commerce, including as Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, Chief of Staff to then-Deputy Secretary of Defense Ash Carter, and Chief of Staff to Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker.
She has also worked in the U.S. Senate, serving as professional staff on the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, managing the international security portfolio, and was lead staff on South Asia. During her Senate tenure, she also worked for three US Senators on intelligence and defense issues.
