Abigail P. Gage

Abigail P. Gage is the Fellow for the panel “Creative Problem Solving: The Role of the IC and Diplomacy in National Security and Defense“ at the #NatSecGirlSquad Conference, and she also works on recruiter outreach. Abigail is a Major in the Army National Guard, serving as the intelligence team chief in a liaison detachment responsible for ensuring communication between the U.S. Army and allied militaries during multinational operations. She is also a recent graduate of the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies, where she earned her Masters degree with concentrations in International Economics and Strategic Studies. At SAIS, Abigail co-founded a Jeffersonian-style forum, the National Security Salon, to facilitate discussion on pressing issues between students of differing political persuasions. She previously worked as a research assistant for the House Armed Services Committee, where she contributed to an investigative report featured on Serial. Abigail began her career in national defense on active duty in Iraq and Germany after earning her Bachelors in Geology, Anthropology and Archaeology from Washington and Lee University.
